Some months back we previewed a new line from Visvim, entitled the ‘Folk’ series, Hiroki Nakamura was interviewed for Honeyee’s third edition and explained the concept behind the new line. The Interview, in English, is now available online at Honeyee for you to read. The ‘Folk’ series is strongly based around two new shoes, the ‘Bear Foot’, a reinterpretatio of the classic FBT and the ‘Foley’ a signature tennis shoe. The new series focuses on the functionality of the materials used, allowing the shoes to breath making them perfect for the upcoming summer collection which begins to drop this Saturday throughout Japan. Expect much more from this upcoming collection here at Slam X Hype over the coming weeks.
