Jacob Escobedos’ work combines organic elements with the psychedelic, recalling the complexity of Nineteenth Century etchings providing a really indepth traditional feel. Jacob Escobedo’s was surrounded by his father’s collections of oddities, old medical books, and encyclopedias during his childhood in Pioche, Nevada which turned out to spark a creative nerve which is now very apparent. Together with his day job as Art Director for the Cartoon Network’s racy cartoon Adult Swim he has showcased his work in places cities like Atlanta, Las Vegas, and Shanghai and has won numerous awards for his commercial design, including One Show and Communication Arts.
