The Vader Project is a project in which artists are asked to take an atypical canvas in the form of the iconic Darth Vader helmet and create their own version of the ominous, black helmet. The project has reached out to a who’s who of the art world including folks the likes of: Gary Baseman, David Flores, CRASH, Mister Cartoon, Tristan Eaton, Gary Taxali, and many more, but for the recent show in Tokyo, they asked 13 Japanese artists to get in the mix. The show was held in Tokyo to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars and it runs until July 21st.
