Classically trained artist, Dave White, has created this fantastic painting of the recently deceased Heath Ledger as The Joker. Ledger did an incredible job portraying the dark character and has without a doubt, left an indelible impression with a performance for the ages as the comic book villain. White’s 4-foot high oil painting is currently on display at the Opus Art Gallery in Newcastle as part of a solo show for the artist that features paintings of superheroes and villains. White was enchanted by Ledger’s portrayal of the character and felt compelled to immediately begin work on this painting.
