Nike Japan have made an elaborate move in purchasing the naming rights to the park known as Miyashita Park. Located between Shibuya and Harajuku, as we speak the park is run down and known for its futsol pitches and a home for a number of homeless people. However set for an remarkable transformation with Nike’s plans including a skate park and cafe will surely an exciting prospect for many in Tokyo as part of Shibuya Ward’s plans.
