Frank Gehry’s Visitors Bench for the World Company

Frank Gehry is without a doubt one of my favourite Architects of all time, known for his decontructivist and post-modernist approach to designs, perhaps the most well known for the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, a building completely cladded in surplus titanium from Russia. Although Gehry rarely do one-off  pieces, he recently designed a visitors bench for World Company building in Tokyo. Japan’s largest fashion house with over 90 (more…)

Visvim Varsity Jacket

One of the most well appreciated pieces from Visvim over the years has definitely been their Varsity jacket, while we have seen the label evolve this piece is amongst the main stays. A well executed minimal piece which features all the details that make for a great Varsity jacket and has made its release this season in black, navy, green and burgundy.

Julian Red Autumn/Winter 2008 Collection

Since 2002, Swedish label Julian Red has been consistent in bringing us some of the best minimalistic designs in mens fashion, and the latest Autumn/Winter collection seems to be of no exception. Titled “at the stands, before the race“. The collection includes a variety of basics in subtle tones, while the presence of their core denim products are still apparent. Rostarr’s “Wreckless Abandon” Exhibition

Oh Wow Gallery in Miami are currently hosting Rostarr’s much talked about exhibition “Wreckless Abandon.” SuperTouch were on hand to capture the extensive work from the highly acclaimed artist who compiled a large scale collection of works. Rostarr’s unique “tribal abstract” approach is great reward for his remarkable vision and distinctive style making for a must see before the exhibition closes on November 8th.

Glenn Barr’s “Happiness” Scultpure

“Detroit’s resident bad-ass painter noir Glenn Barr is well on his way to putting the finishing touches on the prototype sculpt for the forthcoming bronze edition of his “Happiness” painting that will be released in a limited edition of 15 early next year”. No word on pricing or availability yet, although be sure to hear a lot more about this piece here.

Nike ACG x Cassette Playa Blazer

Here is a look at an unique up-coming sneaker release from Nike, in the form of an ACG J Blazer featuring a salmon colored snakeskin upper, croc-skin swoosh and a leather embossed triangle symbol on the heel. The contruction and materials used are all synonymous with Nike Sportswear’s philosophy, making it quite an interesting release. No word on the release date yet, in the meantime take a look at the images courtesy of Mr. Kim after the jump. Istanbul by Boogie

Boogie has just released his second book along the same vein as his Sao Paolo book, which we covered here back in July, but this time, the Serbian photographer hits the city of Istanbul, Turkey. In order to capture Istanbul’s essence through a lens, Boogie hit the streets for 15 hours a day for a week and now, the images collected have created another gritty account of this city’s inhabitants.
