“O/S Operating System” is the title of Tim Biskup’s latest exhibition, featuring some well balanced paintings with each piece standing on an elaborate pedestal. Fusing together aesthetic style and his conceptual theories representing the “interconnection between art itself and the peripheral elements that allow it to exist” Biskup’s work has culminated in these “systems.”
In addition to the 12 “sytems” there are unintentional souvenir of the artist’s older painting style in the form of a large scale 30-color serigraph of Biskup’s “Tree Of Life” painting originally created as the cover of “American Cyclops,” a catalog of artwork from an exhibition of the same name that took in 2006.
