KRUNK Site Update: Futura’s Strategic Synchronicity

The fine folks at KRUNK — organizers of last month’s Strategic Synchronicity show by Futura in Downtown Los Angeles — have updated their site recently. As you know, we followed this show very closely and provided coverage of the event here, but the site now features some more images from the opening and a video installation.

Futura’s Strategic Synchronicity Show Sells Out in LA

Futura’s recent show, Strategic Synchronicity, which was held in Downtown LA, has officially sold out of all the available pieces and now Futura has his sights set on London. London will be the next stop in November and it will feature some more works from the artist’s Strategic Synchronicity collection. Do not miss this show if you are in London! I attended the special opening in LA and I was thoroughly impressed and in case you missed it, check our feature we recently ran on the show.

Futura’s Strategic Synchronicity Show Sells Out in LA

Futura’s “Strategic Synchronicity” Opening

Last night was the VIP opening for the highly anticipated Strategic Synchronicity from Futura, and I must say that the show did not disappoint. The show, presented by KRUNK, was held in Downtown Los Angeles and it featured a great all around ensemble of work from the art titan. A large crowd was in attendance to come see the works that have been touted as a return to Futura’s earlier gallery career of the 80s. I really had a great time seeing his intricate work up close and in such a great setting. There were a lot of personal highlights for me and here are some images of some of the works that are currently on display. Tonite will be the public opening for the show and it will wrap up on Sunday, September 21st, so if you are in the area, stop by as you do not want to miss this show!

With Futura’s highly anticipated “Strategic Synchronicity” set for big things in Los Angeles from this Thursday it could not get much more exciting. As Futura gets set to enter the gallery arena with works that epitomize the feel that made him famous in the gallery scene during the 80’s.

Public Preview of Futura’s “Strategic Synchronicity” This Thursday in Downtown LA

KRUNK has announced that they will putting on a public preview this Thursday (September 11th) for the highly anticipated Strategic Synchronicity during Downtown Los Angeles’ Art Walk. This special engagement will run from approximately 5 to 9pm, but there is no word yet as to where this event will be taking place. Your best bet in finding the location will be to simply come to Art Walk and keep your ears open as the streets will be buzzing about this mysterious show. I work and spend a lot of time in the general area where Art Walk takes place and I assure you that it will be easy to locate the event as I am sure it will attract a horde of people, so, just follow the crowd! If you do not get the chance to make it out on Thursday, the fine folks at KRUNK will be making an announcement in regards to the venue afterward. Also, before I forget, there will be some ink and marker drawings available at this one-night only event, so that should serve as extra incentive to come out.

Futura, an artist recognised as one the originators of graffiti is set to compile a collection of works which takes us back to his illustrious gallery career career which he was widely known for during the 80’s. Beginning on September 18, “Strategic Synchronicity” will showcase what we can expect some really fine work when the show opens in an as-yet undisclosed location in Los Angeles.
