Here is a preview of the Spring/Summer 2010 collection from the much blogged about Jeremy Scott range for Adidas Originals By Originals. Included are a rainbow colourway for the wings sneakers and new women’s footwear, plus two new full outfits. Adidas’s recent collaborations have been really successful, and its good to see these limited ranges getting cleverer and more interesting. Jeremy Scott’s designs are obviously an acquired taste, and not everyone can pull them off, but it’s a smart move for Adidas to embrace the more overtly fashion direction that streetwear seems to be heading in at the moment.

adidas Orginals have announced the arrival of a Jeremy Scott for ‘Originals By Originals’ with a Pop Up Store set to be opened at No6 Newburgh St for London Fashion Week September 2009.

The adidas Originals ‘ObyO’ project is in its second season for AW09. The highly anticipated collection follows through from the huge success of the SS09 collection.It’s the very first season Jeremy is showing at London Fashion Week so for this occastion adidas has given over their boutique styled space ‘No6 Newburgh St’ for an exclusive Jeremy Scott for ObyO Pop Up Store. Jeremy has worked with adidas Originals on the creative direction of the space and transformed it into a bespoke environment where the whole AW09 Jeremy Scott/ObyO product can be viewed and purchased.

A virtual look book seems to be the medium to promote the collaborative couple; Jeremy Scott’s new collection with adidas. Jeremy Scott’s upcoming collection plays on the two themes of Africa and the early 90’s that inspired sports apparel. The soundtrack is by Esau Mwamwaya featuring MIA & Santigold. A great group of artists joining forces to create an apitamy of what street wear culture is standing for today. Watch the video here.

The first series of adidas Originals by Originals line was successful mainly due to the involvement of Kazuki in my opinion. It enabled the collection and sub brand to reach a market otherwise unreachable, by utilising the Japanese designer’s much acclaimed portfolio of work. Here’s a look at the follow up collection, which this coming fall will sit alongside David Beckham(and James Bond) collection and Jeremy Scott’s yet again.

While we make a point of keeping our posts positive in their reporting and tone. I think it’s worth noting that the poor styling of this lookbook doesn’t do the collection and design justice. I look forward to seeing the range again, as I’m sure it’s much better than it appears.

After the success of adidas’ first collection entitled Originals by Originals, featuring designs by Kazuki, Jeremy Scott and Alyasha, the second series is upon us. David Beckham is one of adidas highest paid and highest profile sponsored athletes, but also a regular shopper at LA sneaker boutique Undefeated. UNDFTD owner James Bond has worked with Beckham to design a collaborative series of sneakers and apparel to be released this coming Fall. This is not new news, but this is the first glimpse of whats to come from the pair.
