Nonnative Voyager Boot — (Friday, October 30th, 2009)
One of the best brands coming out of Japan right now is Nonnative. Their refined and subtle take on outdoor and workwear subtly redefines well known garments to make them really special and unique. These new Voyager lace-up boots offer a slimed down take on the classic work boot and come in two shades of aged suede, with contrasting stitching. Zozo have extended there host of names with the addition of Vendor. Vendor, which is home to nonnative, hobo as well as an in store label makes for a really interesting move. Recently nonnative and hobo have become available on Oki-Ni so this push comes as welcoming news for those far from the store.

Here is another look at what nonnative have compiled for fall with some impressive work. As always making their presence felt with their outerwear, but it is the knitwear and denim which stands out for me. Simple and uncompromising nonnative have their own aesthetic which is defined by the detailing and colors.
