W)Taps only do things for one reason, to create a better product, so you know that this series of Socks, Under Tee’s and Boxer’s will be made to the best quality possible. It’s also a way to keep its cult in (head to) toe.

WTAPS have provided a bold pallet of colors for their “Red Dawn” collection, having seen Tet’s influence really shine through. While maintaining some classic technical pieces like the M-65 and Grease jacket’s WTAPS have really improvised to give a new dimension of the label.

Here is more exciting news from the WTAPS “Red Dawn” collection with a release consisting some really impressive items. From the shirts which include a flannel and an aged oxford shirt with the black strip down the buttons to the outerwear which includes more colors of the Gore-tex Sherpa we have already seen. In addition there is an exceptional beanie which really has a great retro military feel.

WTAPS Fall/Winter 2008 “Trash Denim”

We would like to take a minute to show you WTAPS’ “Trash Denim” that has just surfaced recently. As you can clearly see, the denim has received some extreme treatment to create its look reminiscent of what we saw during the summer. Paint drips and stitched in holes can be seen throughout the jeans. These things definitely appear to have been battered and bruised with battle wounds to prove it. Also, another thing worth mentioning is the spider pattern stitched onto the back pocket. Check them for yourself after the jump.

When it comes to technical apparel you do not have to look much further than WTAPS, having based many great aspects of their work in recent years around their outerwear. These items really depict a mix of Americana with a military theme which has played a huge part of the defining WTAPS direction while color is definitely a speaking point for their winter line.

Comparable to the Teds coat seen in past seasons from WTAPS, the Eae features 3 buttons, a shawl collar, and more length in the coat taking inspiration from the film noirs. With the usual commendable construction WTAPS have used a cotton twill with a herringbone backing and provided stain damage and given it an aged feel with the characteristic dry cotton feel really showing.

Having come of the back of the impressive Spring/Summer “Extreme Prejudice” collection, WTAPS have compiled there Fall/Winter collection with the title “Red Dawn”. As we can see very much the same theme has been the inspiration and its all there, flannel shirts, hoodies, denim and the usual items like the field jacket is backed up with some great leather bomber jackets. Reminiscent of wars in the middle of last century depicted in films WTAPS have added a bit more color to this collection than what we have expected over the years from Tet
