The much acclaimed London based Anish Kapoor has been chosen to mark the London 2012 Olympic Games. The artist was commissioned to create a sculpture to showcase the event, the result, a 115m tall piece, named the ArcelorMittal Orbit. Taller than the Statue of Liberty and set to cost £19.1m, it will offer visitors to London panoramic views of the Olympic City.
