With JR preparing for his upcoming exhibition entitled Encrages at Galerie Perrotin, Arrested Motion have visited his studio in New York. The TED prize winning photographer will bring together many of his coveted works from his Women are Heroes and Wrinkles in the City initiatives. This is in addition to works that have been showcased in China, Africa and the Middle East, making for a quite coveting body of works. This look inside his two level studio not only serves as a workshop to create his fine art works, but also houses the printing press for his ambitious INSIDEOUT project. Take a look inside the walls of JR’s studio below and look forward to Encrages opening on November 19.
