An ongoing project organized by the Library Street Collective in Detroit, various artists are taking to a mixed-used development in the city’s downtown area known as ‘the Z.’ Augustine Kofie is the latest to contribute work, adding his signature geometric abstractions to a number of large-scale walls, making it a case of “bigger is better.” The low profile ceiling and elongated lines of the building add to the artist’s own treatment of the walls, bringing a futuristic vibe to the space.
