An interesting story on Telegraph UK came to my attention today, A run-down pub in Liverpool has seen its market value soar after it was branded by a graffiti artist, thought to be enigmatic artist Banksy. Who continues his legacy this year with the recent series public installations like the Village Pet store and billboard sized street art displays in NYC. While his reign in the world of street art as strong as ever, the fame has also brought along a huge demand. More and more art collectors are now looking to snatch a piece of their own, as a result this run-down pub in Liverpool managed to double it’s initial value of £495,000, to around £1 million when it got blessed by one of Banksys politically-motivated street art rat pieces.
