Banksy continues to surprise with the continuation of his Better Out than In takeover of New York. The artist’s latest stunt has seen him set up shop in Central Park, selling original works from a stall for $60 a piece. As you can imagine, plenty of unsuspecting people passed this opportunity by – because let’s face it, why would you pay $60 for (apparently) counterfeited stencil art? It’s an excellent demonstration of the role celebrity plays in the art world.
