“Beginners” Film by Mike Mills Opens Friday
After his book signing at Opening Ceremony to celebrate his project and new film ‘Beginners,’ it has been announced the film will open this Friday, June 3rd in the US. ‘Beginners’ is a semi-autobiographical story about Director Mike Mills’ life, originally sparked form the loss of his mother and father within a few years of each other and taking 10 years to form the story for the film. Ewan McGregor plays Mills, with Christopher Plummer playing his aging father who has a revelation that he was gay after being married to Mills’ mother for 44 years.
