For the second year running, the historic Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery plays host to a special event showcasing work from some of the city’s most exciting contemporary art galleries. Beyond Eden, an extension of 2008’s successful exhibit East of Eden, pays tribute to the increasingly championed new contemporary art scene with an eclectic multi-gallery exhibit featuring artwork contributed by Billy Shire Fine Arts, Black Maria Gallery, Carmichael Gallery of Contemporary Art, Copro Gallery, Crewest, DRKRM, Gallery 1988, Gallery Nucleus, La Luz De Jesus, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, LeBasse Projects, Subliminal Projects, Synchronicity Space and Thinkspace along with live outdoor painting by local artists.

Beyond Eden opens this Saturday, October 10th and runs throughout the weekend. It’s going to be a great event, with an expected crowd of at least 5000, so if you’re in LA make sure to come on out.
