An exciting Israeli artist that has come to our attention in recent times is street artist Pilpeled, who is currently working artwork for an up-coming bar in Tel Aviv called “Bodega Bar“. While his artwork can often be seen through the streets of Tel Aviv, this body of work is created from a more photographic approach and will be displayed on the walls of the bar, with imagery that incorporates wrecks of the modern society into beautiful scenic backdrops. Perhaps to serve as a reflection on the atmosphere that the bar intends to create. An interesting concept nevertheless. Take a look at the images after the jump.
