Earlier this year, Ethan Greenbaum, Sara Greenberger Rafferty and  David Kennedy Cutler held a “materials meeting”, where the artists shared secrets and research related to their working practices, which, although varied, often use commercial printing and industrial supplies in sculptural/photographic hybrid artworks. Born of these conversations is a new publication, &&&, published by Brooklyn’s Paper Cuts. Limited to an edition of 1,000 books with an additional run of 30 Special Edition volumes (comprised of a signed, screenprinted board folio, the &&& paperback book, and 3 “sample cards” / limited edition artworks by each respective artist)  the  books offer a unique insight into the artwork of each artist, showing both the likenesses and differences in the trio’s individual and complimentary artistic styles and practices.

Both books will launch at Paper Cuts’ project room at Printed Matter’s New York Art Book Fair at MoMA PS1 on Thursday, September 19th between 6 – 9 pm.
