Colour Spin Bass Guitar by Damien Hirst and Flea
November 8th see’s the London launch of Damien Hirst and Flea’s collaboration to benefit Silverlake Conservatory of Music. The Spin Bass Guitars by Damien Hirst and Flea, the bass player from The Red Hot Chili Peppers are numbered to just 125 editions and come with matching cases featuring the same artwork. There are multi-coloured and Black and White versions available at a cost of £10,000.
All guitars are signed by Flea and Damien Hirst on the back with the edition number punched on the base of the neck and the Hirst-Flea logo on the headstock.
Flea established Silverlake Conservatory of Musicin 2011 with his childhood friend, Keith Barry. Based in Los Angeles, its primary focus is on the youth of the community, to enrich their lives through music, offering affordable or free music lessons.
