Damien Hirst’s new exhibition “No Love Lost: Blue Paintings” is set to open tomorrow at the Wallace Collection in London. The Wallace Collection houses masterpieces from the likes of Rembrandt and Titan and only a select few artists have ever exhibited there in their own lifetime and Hirst spent £250,000 of his own money re-decorating the gallery for this exhibition (most of which will be stripped out when it ends).  The works on show feature a departure from Hirst’s recent work with 25 hand painted canvases in a Francis Bacon inspired style featuring his usual motifs of skulls, dots, sharks and butterflys.

The exhibition runs from 14th October until 24th January 2010 at the Wallace Collection.  Check out the preview video and images from the Telegraph below.
