Its going to be a good christmas this year at the Hirst family home, not that it wasn’t last year, but day 2 of Hirst’s groundbreaking auctions at London’s Sotheby’s has been an even bigger success than the previous day netting a record $200 million. Sales included Hirst’s preserved unicorn piece, “The Dream,” selling for $7,284,408 USD. Who says its the arts hit hardest during hard economic times?!
