Russia see’s the arrival of Hirst, the new show at Triumph Gallery started December 17th and presents Damien Hirst’s new multiples project, ‘The Dead’, a series of 30 limited edition prints of one of the artist’s most explored motifs, the human skull. Death has been a central theme for Hirst throughout his career. This series of foil-block prints, with its vibrant, joyful colours, is reminiscent of the images produced to mark the Mexican Day of the Dead.
