Musical visionary Danger Mouse and iconoclastic filmmaker David Lynch pool their talents and reveal the stunning and haunting photographs from their groundbreaking project, the Dark Night of the Soul book. A full-length album and illustrated book, combining the talents of Danger Mouse, David Lynch and celebrated rock recluse Sparklehorse. In addition to the hardcover book, the album includes vocals from the Flaming Lips, Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, Frank Black of The Pixxies, Iggy Pop, Nina Persson of The Cardigans, Suzanne Vega and many others.
The exhibition consists of 50 original photographs by David Lynch which are displayed alongside the accompanying soundtrack by Danger Mouse and Sparkelhourse. Seven limited edition prints of each photograph will be available for purchase. The Exhibition will open December 2, 2009 as the much anticipated kick-off to Art Basel week 2009.
OHWOW gallery is the brain child from Aaron Bondaroff and Al Moran and has become Miami’s most exciting high profile art space.
