"David Bailey: Look" Book

“David Bailey: Look” is a new book from Phaidon which surveys the entire career of arguably the world’s most famous fashion photographer.
No one defined the swinging 60s London lifestyle like Bailey – friends with rock stars and with a constant string of models and actresses hanging off his arm. His iconic magazine work and black and white shots of people like the Beatles, Jean Shrimpton and Michael Caine redefined how people viewed fashion photography. “Look” features numerous fashion images and shots from his monographs “Box of pin-ups” and the controversial “The lady is a tramp”.
The book also features a selection of Bailey’s commissions for record-sleeve art, feature films, documentaries and commercials, plus some of his lesser know personal projects, such as his streetscapes of London and Havana, and an intimate series of portraits of model Catherine Bailey, his current wife.
