The famous photographer David Lachapelle presents for the first time in France a retrospective with more than 200 photos at the Hotel de la Monnaie from 6th february to 31st May. He presents for the first time 3D intallations called “Auguries of Innocence” (like the poem of William Blake). Voted Best Photographer in 1995 by magazines such as “American Photo”, David Lachapelle is undoubtedly one of the best photographers of his generation. You will find the best-known portraits of celebrities like Madonna and Naomi Campbell, but also works that feature the cult of personality, and the perversity of the world of Hollywood stars.
