Apple’s planned Campus 2, dubbed the “Spaceship” was approved by Cupertino city officials last month and the tech company have responded by releasing 24 new renderings of what employees will be greeted by when they step into the new office. Set for completion some time in 2016, the 2.8 million square foot HQ will have room for 13,000 employees, incorporating ample office space in the “mothership” building, a massive cafeteria, pavilion, underground auditorium and above and below-ground parking facilitates, all designed in suitably minimal style by star architect Norman Foster and his firm. Steve Jobs was apparently hands-on with the design process from the beginning, and the end result will be a fitting post-humous tribute to his legacy. (Source: Wired)
