“Giving students the creative freedom to throw paint onto a wall for four hours” is certainly something that doesn’t happen all the time- but this was Eric Elms’ motto for the day for his Make Something!! Workshops ‘Mural Painting’ class. Divided up into teams the participants were each given a letter or two of which they could paint and decorate on the wall how ever they chose. The complete end result spelt out ‘United We Rise’ along the wall inside Nike Stadium, full of different interpretations of fonts, color pairings, doodling and personal touches.
