Eric White Studio Visit | 'LP' at Sloan Fine Art

Keeping busy with preparations for his new solo show ‘LP’, Eric White was payed a visit, and sneak peek look at his under developments, by the guys at Arrested Motion. Opening on 12th September 2009 at the Sloan Fine Art gallery, the exhibition consists of White’s interpretations of classic album covers from before 1983, the year when he got his first CD player. ‘At first glance, the 12″ paintings often look exactly like record sleeves from Fleetwood Mac, Talking Heads, Pink Floyd and others that we’ve all seen hundreds of times. But on closer inspection, White has used his impressive technical skills to subtly reinterpret the cover art, injecting his own allusions and twisted humor to make these works even more deeply personal’. Have a look at their visit to the studio here.
