Tomorrow evening, New Zealand-born artist Erin Forsyth is launching “The Forest For The Trees” at the Marker Gallery, marking her first solo exhibition in Melbourne. A practising artist of “no fixed abode”, Forsyth has spent the last twelve months exhibiting at Monster Children, MTV, Lee, Black and Blue, Liberty, Plaything and Some Days Galleries amongst others and her illustrations have garnered her an international cult following. Describing “The Forest For The Trees” as a collection of new illustrations, paintings and watercolours, it promises to be an exhibition of high calibre (and fun times). Forsyth’s new print for Little Art Book, “The Agony”, will also become available at the Gallery for the first time in Melbourne. Forsyth’s illustrations will be on display until June 20th.
