The highly anticipates Mental States Exhibition from George Condo opened on Tuesday at the New Museum in New York. The exhibition is the first major US survey of works by George Condo with a over 80 paintings and sculptures dating back to 1982 by the adventurous and imaginative artist. This comprehensive collection of works was separated into multiple areas with each particular installation highlighted by a “mental state” and plays with the boundaries between abstraction and figurative work.
