‘GRIND’ Magazine’s Saint Laurent SS14 Collection Editorial Is All 1950s Rock ‘n’ Roll
Usually, we get excited about a magazine doing an editorial of a fashion house’s newest line because it’s a moment for a publication to put their unique spin on the story that a label told with their line. But, for its Saint Laurent spread, Japanese magazine GRIND just leans even more fully to the old-school rock ‘n’ roll feel that Hedi Slimane stresses in his designs. At first, we were disappointed, but then again, it’s hard to go wrong with Saint Laurent’s clothing. Basically anytime we get to see them in action, we’re happy.
Take a look at the collection in the gallery above. As you’d expect, it’s heavy on the black leathers and military-infused jackets, but there’s also some bright satin pieces and some loud patterned shirts. Visit Saint Laurent’s webstore to shop the label’s new arrivals.
