Having previewed this highly anticipated exhibition German duo Herakut one more than one occasion, we can look at how the opening unfolded. “No Placebos”, an installation of mass proportions, having announced the exhibition only days prior the turnout proved “a testament to the rapid ascendancy and popularity of their work”. A closer look at their work provides an interesting insight to the abstract approach that is found behind all the characters used in their unique drawings. Amongst the mediums of work were paintings on canvas, cardboard cutouts and direct onto the walls of Red Flagg.
