Need Supply‘s Human Being Journal recently sat down with New York-based artist/photographer Ryan McGinness to talk about what stimulates him. As he explains, it’s the act of living – and exploring the unknown – which drives his practice. In this short interview shot in the artist’s studio, he discusses certain choices he’s made during his career, from the surf and skate style work he started with, to touching on some of the more conceptual thoughts he’s been having in later years. If you’re a McGinley fan, you should definitely watch this.
