Here is a great artist doing some really interesting work with a character known as Calavera, or skull when translated from Spanish. Jonathan Bergeron aka Johnny Crap uses this interesting character in numerous paintings in numerous getups ranging from a banjo playing musician, a cholo, Batman, and as a member of the ruthless Clockwork Orange crew. His work has even been selected to be used for a tour shirt design for the legendary act, Slayer. Bergeron is currently showing in the group show, Crazy 4 Cult 2, which we recently profiled here.
