Jose Parla
This past summer Jose Parla created two large scale murals for “The Concord Project” in Toronto. Talking vividly about the project, he explains how his abstract approach is a homage to various people who have influenced him as well as having found such a good rhythm that he refers to himself as a “human typewriter”. What is interesting is that these works took a year to create, beginning in his studio in Brooklyn and then transported to Toronto.
