Juxtapoz, Upper Playground and Sparks have teamed up with three names we hear from time to time around here, Sam Flores, Alex Pardee, and N8 Van Dyke culminating in a series of events entitled “Ignite What’s Up.” Each event will showcases live painting from these artists along with performances by progressive up and coming DJs for a mix up of art, music and culture. Live art installations will take place at a variety of venues, ranging from urban boutiques to bars and nightclubs.

The first being this this Sunday, September 13th, at Lenny’s Bar in Atlanta, then “Ignite What’s Next” moves onto Boston on September 20th at Underground Snowboards, and the “finale” is on October 3 in Phoenix, Arizona at the Marquee Theatre.  Read much more over at the Upper Playground website.
