Prior to Kaws solo show at Honor Fraser, the artist who is really making a lot of noise at the moment kicked things off with, “I Can’t Feel My Face,” a VIP party and art exhibition at Royal T in Culver City, LA. The popular  Japanese-style maid cafe spot contained an impressive array of artwork and sculptural pieces from over 25 contemporary artists, hand-picked by Kaws from owner and collector Susan Hancock’s collection.

Another huge treat for those in attendance was the Original Fake pop-up shop set up inside the space, featuring limited edition merchandise and toys, including a t-shirt designed exclusively for the event, a few sets of the “Warm Regards” ice cream bars, and the Kaws companion area rugs.

Much more footage over at Arrested Motion.
