Continuing to focus on large scale works, renowned artist KAWS recently opened two new bodies of works at Mary Boone Gallery in the Chelsea area in New York. Entitled “At This Time” and “Along The Way”, the projects consist of three new wooden sculptures, featuring a Afromosia wood and measuring over eighteen feet high. In addition to these gigantic pieces of work, that are similar to the works seen in Switzerland during Art Basel week, there were three eight foot tondos.
