Set for a March 2012 release is Kehinde Wiley’s self-titled book. The book is a look at the artists work throughout his career, a career and artist style based on his commentary of race and power in our society. The artist in a short time has become hugely important, his signature paintings which portray contemporary african-american icons in traditional heroic poses have become highly sought after. The book is a must have – stay tuned till March.
