Here is a brief look at what we can expect from two exhibitions from Japanese artist Keiichi Tanaami. The first opening April 3, entitled KILLER JOE’S features drawings, collages, paintings, and animations made by Tanaami in the ’60s and early ’70s that were recently discovered in the artist’s studio and will coincidently be the first public showing of these original works. In addition, the Stussy Harajuku Chapter will be the location of an exhibition entitled Burlesque which consists of all new drawings that coincide with the collection the artist created for the iconic street brand and will open on April 5.
