Recently finishing up its showing, New York based Kon Trubkovich had his first Solo Exhibition at OHWOW entitled “Leap Second”. Said to be his most personal works to date, the centerpiece is a group of large scale portraits of Mr. Trubkovich’s mother. Using just one second of video, it documented the family’s final party in the U.S.S.R. before coming to the United States. Using Oil on Linen, the artist demonstrates and recalls hazy memories and times passed. For more info on Kon Trubkovich head here. This Saturday, June 30 “Too Old For Toys, Too Young For Boys” Curated by Alex Gartenfeld will be opening at OHWOW.
