For their 2010 Holiday Collector’s Series, Lacoste pulled in Chinese artist Li Xiaofeng to help with the creative. Applying his methods to an unlikely mould, Li Xiaofeng created two polo shirts out of pieces of porcelain ceramics. There is a mens and womens printed version of the shirt for sale which comes packaged in a silk pouch, stamped with the red seal Li Xiaofeng x Lacoste logo, but the actual porcelain shirts will be on display in France on July 25th at the Musée des Arts et Métiers and then in Bejing in the Fall at Li Xiaofeng’s first one-man show organized by the Red Gate Gallery.
