Having previewed Dieter Rams current show at MOMA in San Francisco, here is a great interview with the man conducted by Dwell Magazine which provides greater insight into the Germans inspiration and vision. Entitled LESS AND MORE The Design Ethos of Dieter Rams, the showcase features over 200 models made by Rams highlighted by his renown minimalist design concept focused on functionality and user-friendliness. Perhaps what makes for interesting news is the fact that Rams also includes contemporary products including Apple computers, which were influenced by his Ten Principles of Good Design, an ethos inspiring companies and designers alike. The Less but Better exhibit will run until February 2012 at the SFMOMA.
