Marcelo Krasilcic “1990s” Exhibition @ colette, Paris
Brazilian-American photographer Marcelo Krasilcic is currently exhibiting a series of photographs at colette, Paris, coinciding with the publication of a new book of his work from the ’90s. Having moved to New York during that decade, Krasilcic studied art and photography and went on to have original work featured in prominent magazines like Purple, Dazed & Confused, Self-Service, Visionaire and more. Running through March 30, be sure to check out the exhibition if you’re in town.
“The 1990’s presented opportunities through new magazines where fashion was just an accessory to tell a story, Chloë Sevigny was still a kid, a hand could be an eye, and to surpass our limitations was the expected outcome.” M.K.
