Martin Margiela was recently asked to retrofit the Parisian apartment of Jacques Carlu (architect of the Palais de Chaillot, built in the thirties), commissioned by Elle Decoration, the designer’s team transformed the apartment into a party pad fit with champagne flutes, empty bottles and confetti strewn all over the floors to create a scene of the aftermath of an epic bash! This visual treat may have also been the silent nod to the unveiling of Margiela’s expanding his homewear line, yet there is still no word of when (or if ) this is the case.
