Matt Dangler opened his show ” Searching for Satori” at Gallery 1988 San Francisco this past weekend. I really enjoy the way he models and renders with paint, his work kind of reminds of Hieronymus Bosch. All theses strange little characters doing weird things, at least they’re not demons dragging poor souls to hell. Dangler’s work is much lighter than that. But maybe we need to see more Last Judgement paintings for he new era, start scaring some folks. Here’s a couple examples-
