Trailblazers of the urban art movement, Barry McGee, Ed Templeton and Raymond Pettibon have always been strongly tethered to subculture – skateboarding, surf, punk, hip hop and graffiti – and have had their work exhibited in museums, shows and biennales world-wide. Now brought together by a passion for the underdogs and outsiders of society, curator Aaron Rose (whose documentary Beautiful Losers is currently touring the United States) is showing these three artists at Circleculture Gallery, Berlin.
