Mad Men might have spawned a massive trend in fashion and interior design – or certainly brought mid-century design to a larger audience. It’s easy to forget amongst all the stylized direction, this is a show about the advertising industry during a pivotal stage in its history. This new book,’Mid-Century Ads: Advertising in the Mad Men Age’ is a look at the results of their work(well not Don Draper, but the real Don Drapers of the era).
